Gary Dominguez

It’s with sadness but with faith in eternal life, that I share that my wonderful husband Gary passed away last Wednesday after a two-year battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. We take comfort knowing that he is in the arms of Jesus in his forever home. We are so grateful for the two years we had with him since his diagnosis. He was able to attend weddings for our two children who got married during the pandemic, and he was able to see his grandson grow into an inquisitive, loving, determined toddler. We also experienced our dream trip with all of our kids and grandson in Italy and France in the winter of 2019/20. God has been so good and gentle and has walked with us in this journey. We will be forever grateful for the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of Gary. We also are so appreciative of all the prayers, messages, emails, cards, and calls from all of you. They have comforted us in our sorrow and held us up when we grew weak. Gary was an incredible man with quiet faith, intense love and integrity, as well as a wonderful sense of humor (so many Garyisms). He touched so many lives and mentored so many young men and women in the fire service and previously in scouts and sports. With Gary, we raised three incredibly loving, strong, generous children. Our hearts are hurting with the loss of our husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. But he lived his life well in order to share eternity with Our Father in Heaven. Gary always said that we should leave a place better than we found it… Well, my dear, the world is a better place because of you. Rest in Peace my Love.
