Andrew Perample VIEW PROFILE

Andrew Perample

Drew provided over a decade of service and involvement at the Boys and Girls Club in Tustin as a basketball coach, a referee, and in many other roles. His impact on the community locally did not stop there. His passion for sports and community service followed him throughout his life and where his life took him. Drew began a career in Residential Door and Trim first at California Finish Supply, then as a shop assistant for Dayle Cunningham at Cunningham Door and Window. Drew was instrumental in opening Desert Door and Trim, in Las Vegas in 1989. Later working at Quality Wood Products, then returning to California to later become VP at Bo D Bro, Inc.

Family was fundamental to Drew's life in many ways, not only with those of us lucky enough to be related to him, but his chosen families as well. Drew is father by birth to Andrew, and by choice, love, and unwavering dedication to Adrianna, Emily, Katie, Mitch, and children-in-law, Dustin, Kevin, Betsy, Samantha. Drew is survived by all his children, his brother Mark, nieces, Stephanie, Amanda, Laura and nephews Neil and Nick, as well as eleven grandchildren, with two grandchildren arriving soon. Central to Drew's life and family in marriage and thereafter is his former wife and forever friend, Susan, whom also survives Drew. As calls arrive from Drew's extended and chosen families, the common sentiment is how Drew made people feel like his family, and meant every bit of it to each person. Drew was predeceased by his parents, John and Peggy, and his brothers Dan and Matt.

Oh this is a hard one to process.  Another good friend from Mater Dei taken way too soon.  Met Andy through friends and aquantinces that were grads from St Cecilia's and also through sharing some classes together.  He was a great guy with a funny ass sense of humor.  Many fond memories of classes, lunches, games, parties and extracuricular activites on weekends and such.  He was a class act and a good friend.  Will be greatly missed.  RIP Andy
