Obituary
Osborn, Elizabeth Ann "Liz", died Friday, March 2nd following a brief illness. She was 51.

A resident of Hayward and the SF Bay area for the past 20 years, Miss Osborn was born July, 1960 in Long Beach, and was raised in the Floral Park area of Santa Ana, where her father owned an automobile business.

She attended Holy Family Elementary School and Mater Dei High School, class of 1978. A member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, she attended and graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton and later earned her MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University, Belmont, California.

She worked in retail with Macy's and Mervyns and later became a corporate finance manager for Kaiser Permanente Hospital headquarters in Hayward.

After a courageous battle with lung cancer, she is survived by the love of her life and fiance, Keith Schafer, who was at her bedside when she died.

She was preceded in death by her father, John and brother, Anthony.

She also is survived by her mother, Mary Ellen Osborn; brothers Christopher, Edmond, Thomas, Terry and John W. Osborn Jr.; as well as sisters, Susan Semnacher and Elaine Wogensen; three nieces and five nephews.

A celebration of her life (was) held at 11 a.m, Monday, March 19 in the chapel of All Souls Mortuary, 4400 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90807. Interment will follow. Visit www.allsoulsmortuary.com to send condolences
